Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

1.8TDCI wet belt, is it a DIY job?

Ford Galaxy 2010 with the 1.8 engine. Just about to hit 300km, with the top belt due for change. I will do the wet belt too, as there is no information as to when that was done.

Is it a home garage job? I have done two 1.5 DCI engines in Qashqais recently which I didn't find too bad. I have a reasonable selection of tools (1/4,3/8,1/2 full sets, breaker bars, and a dewalt impact for the big bolts, with a good trolley jack and stands for lifting)

Does it need special tools, or just a lot of stripping out and patience?

    Thanks!
