Search for a Piagio van maybe. Might be cheaper or alternatively get something like a Fiesta van or a Suzuki Jimny van if you can find one. Both much nicer than that Honda yoke.

Terrible yokes. No safety at all. The only safety feture in them is brakes and seat belts and you sit on top of the engine a horrible thing when it get hot. Not a fun place to be. Why would anyone want a shi-tbox like that?

I'd try Axa and Abbeyautoline in the north maybe

Abbey autoline - I have a 1998 pickup insured on a classic policy with them.

Thanks lads, spent 45 min at axa branch waiting and spent most of that (same) time trying to get a reply off abbey auto line on hold on the phone, eventually got a human and a call back with a quote and left axa well alone. Less than 300 euros for 1500 miles a year or 315€ for 3000 miles a year.. abbey auto line very helpful to deal with.. now to spend the weekend deciding to sh#t or get off the pot and buy the van😀. Many thanks for all the advice

best of luck with it, who did you get insurance with? any trouble with DOE?

As an FYI. As 3 companies refused cover you can use the Declined Cases Agreement and the 1st company has to insure you, the price has to be reasonable.
