I'm bringing my daughter to the womens rugby match on 20th of November and am driving from the west so was wondering were would be the best place to park near by

There used to be paid parking in Saint Mary's Church of Ireland on Anglesea Road for most matches.

Google maps seems to indicate it's closed but that may be out of date:

There's at least one other paid car park on Anglesea road too.

On that Saturday you should get parking no problem on Wellington Road or Raglan Road. Or you could try the Ballsbridge end of Herbert Park. But the first two streets mentioned are free on Saturday.

You could park at the car park at Heuston Station and get the 145 bus in. Hop off it at Energia Park Donnybrook and the RDS is about 5 minutes walk down the road.

The on street traffic and parking in and around the Dublin 4 area can be busy on a match day; you should get some but if you don't then you could be stuck. Oh and check out the signage as well. Not all of the streets are free at the weekend and trust me, the clampers are merciless if you mess up.

Yes, not sure of the situation around the D4 area but I've noticed many on-street parking spots that used to be paid parking Mon - Fri have during the pandemic been changed to paid parking Mon - Sat (via an 'Sat' sticker over the letters 'Fri').

I usually park on Shrewsbury Road; little bit further away than some suggestions but handy if you've no issues with walking a bit. Free parking at the weekend in a safe area and about 20 min walk to the stadium. Head south on M50 and then approach from Sandyford/Stillorgan side.
