Replacing a bath with a disabled access shower

Hi, would appreciate advice. My mother (80+, can walk short distances with walking sticks but not stand long) is in need of a better option for showering. She's currently using her tiny en suite shower, which is a Mira and runs off the heating or the immersion), but the tray and stall is too small to put a shower chair in. Next door to the en suite is the main bathroom, which has a bath with one of those handheld showerheads. The water pressure is very weak and she can't climb into the bath anyway. So I was thinking it might be best to take out the bath and put in a level-access shower with an instant electric shower. Has anyone else done this or know roughly how much it might cost?

Mods, sorry if this is posted in the wrong location.

Another option to consider, if there's money to spare, is a "deep soak bath" - a bath with a seat that you can walk into. She could sit while showering, and still have the option for baths if she wants. Things like this:

Make sure you apply for a County Council grant to cover the cost of the works. Bit of paperwork involved, but they should cover most, if not all, the cost.

My aunt did this... I’ll get the name of the company who did the work which is unbelievable quality.... a really nice job, stylish, great quality materials and great clean workmanship... it doesn’t look like certain medically accessible bathroom upgrades you see.... it could be a hotel..

Along these lines...^^^ but with silver mobility rails outside and in
