Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Commercial Solar

Hi All, our business is interested in reviewing solar options in 2022 (elec costs of €120K/annum). We looked at it a number of years ago, but the payback duration was too long to justify the large up front cost. I would presume with the rising energy costs, and possibly improving technology, the projects may be more viable now.

Would anyone be able to recommend a commercial company to deal with? A one stop shop, as we are a small operation without any maintenance/engineering staff to manage the project.

    Thanks

Most domestic installers also do commerical (as generally a commerical install is easier)

Kingspan had a huge project a number of years ago to use renewable technologies. They started to fill warehouses full of solar panels etc. It might be worth trying to have a direct conversation with them to get some advice .
