Give it a good check over for rust. Make sure everything electrical works too. No personal experience of this engine but as this will probably be a hobby/weekend car, iif you’re happy with how the it drives then go for it.

Google ( what else?) CarSurvey.org and enter the details of your vehicle, and see what that tells you. After reading it, I'm half tempted to get one myself.....but the other half tells me to keep as far away as possible.!!!
