    Hi,

I am filling in a form IT38 for a cash gift received from my uncle. I had trouble getting his PPS number but finally have it. Filling in the form I've filled in his details but then it is asking me to add a property - it was a cash gift - not a property - which category do I fill in?

It means “property” in a general sense, I assume, i.e. that which can be owned. I’d imagine when you go further into the form, you’ll be asked to clarify what kind of “property” it is and you can select “cash” or something similar
