Live at the Marquee 2022

I've no idea if this applies to Simply Red, but it's happened in the past where the original band has gone on touring after the lead guy has left, and use the original name.... So when said lead person starts touring again with a new band they want to use the name again, or maybe he has rejoined original band and using his name before it signifies this.

Happened with ELO, Wishbone Ash, one of the many incarnations of deep purple, Squeeze i think and possibly the jam.

Anyway back on topic.... The National are playing, while I've never been a huge fan of their albums I've seen their show at a few festivals and have been really impressed, great show, would recommend.

Theres riverdance too, if you are into that thing, and I heard mentioned on the radio today that Aikens are teasing at least one "really big international act" for the marquee....Now that could easily be Tom Grennan, I've no idea who he is either!

I’d heard there was a big name to be announced. She’s has one of the biggest selling albums this year so is likely to sell out. It may be a short enough set list though if she has only one album if material to draw from.

Usually I am similar but she genuinely is huge, especially in 2021. Some songs you may recognise, both of which were #1 this year in Ireland
