Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Howye,

If I am running micro inverters on the roof to convert the DC/AC - does anyone know of a decent quality battery make which would take the AC feed?

Reason for the inverters is I have run T&E cable to the roof already from my plant room and not DC.

    Thanks

Well an AC battery is just a DC battery with a built in inverter

So you can just get any battery and a hybrid inverter and connect it to the AC side of the PV

You'll likely need a current sensor on the grid input to tell the battery when the PV is generating excess energy and allow it to charge the battery, or discharge when power is being imported from the grid
