Is forwarding an email without permission a breach of GDPR/any laws?

I emailed my manager about a number of issues I am having with my supervisor. She told me this needed to be resolved with her directly and forwarded the email directly to her. Is this a GDPR breach or any sort of legal breach? It feels so wrong to do this without consent. Many thanks.

If you want to complain about this, GDPR is probably not the right approach.
Does your company have a Dignify at Work policy?
That said, if you write about someone in a work email, you should always assume they will see the message at some point.
