Maybe in 40 years there, ll be a statue of bono as he seems the most successful Irish singer since the 90s. I can't think of any Irish politican who,ll be remembered in 40 years Bob Geldof might get a plaque on a wall for his charity work

We don't seem to have any famous Irish pop stars since Enya and u2

I mean people who sell millions of cds, digital streams etc

We have a few good Irish actors that go to Hollywood

Jim Gavin... road / street / square / bridge or statue by Croke Park would be appropriate.... he revolutionized Dublin football, probably football in general, tactically, the behind the scenes stuff, fitness and skills... turned the Dubs into one of the most successful sports teams and entertaining sports teams in the history of the country... a blueprint that since he retired they will go on to benefit from.. and have done with last years success.
