Hard to imagine that living people will be looked upon with nostalgia in the future but it happens. Anyway, some tongue in cheek suggestions

    The Varadakar Tunnel

    The Blindboy Alley

The Ryan Line (if he gets some train tracks built!)

The Ryan Line would remind me more of Gerry Ryan, that was his tagline for when the phone lines were open.

Maybe in 40 years there, ll be a statue of bono as he seems the most successful Irish singer since the 90s. I can't think of any Irish politican who,ll be remembered in 40 years Bob Geldof might get a plaque on a wall for his charity work

We don't seem to have any famous Irish pop stars since Enya and u2

I mean people who sell millions of cds, digital streams etc

We have a few good Irish actors that go to Hollywood

If they named a urinal after Tony Holohan I'd like to use it.

The Enda Kenny Sulky has a ring to it also.

Might be appropriate to name a hospital after Tony Holohan...

wont ever be a tangible way to calculate exactly how many lives he and his team contributed to saving but I think the man should be recognized.

Paul McGrath, does he really deserve a capital city airport to be named after him?

Maybe the "Paul McGrath Airport Getaway Bar"?

Jim Gavin... road / street / square / bridge or statue by Croke Park would be appropriate.... he revolutionized Dublin football, probably football in general, tactically, the behind the scenes stuff, fitness and skills... turned the Dubs into one of the most successful sports teams and entertaining sports teams in the history of the country... a blueprint that since he retired they will go on to benefit from.. and have done with last years success.
