Thurles 2.20 MATILDA WITH ME ew 33/1 Gen

Is a hopeful pick for small change. First go over hurdles, but has plenty of experience on the flat. Is a winner over 10 and 11 furlongs, and wasn't disgraced over a mile and a half at Tipperary in June. There's no standout hurdles' form in this field, so it's my hope that it won't be a hard to win race. Favourable mentions to Lighthouse Lady @ 8/1 and Choral Work @ 22/1 ; who can go well at decent prices... The last two, while not short, are priced about right I'd say, and are fine for a little ew, but Matilda With Me is probably the only one I'll do myself here..

Heading to Thurles later for the racing, can't wait!!

I liked Ballyshannon Rose in the first but she is on the drift all morning and mustn't be fully tuned up.

I'll take a chance on Jennys Getaway in the 4.05

2.20 Thurles, Hollymount, around 6/4. I've backed this to win and my best of the day. I think we'll see a lot more from this horse from today onwards.

2.48 Newton abbot, Might I, around 5/4. I've had a chunky win bet on this too. If you take the second fav out, should be a walk in the park.

3.30 Thurles, Stratum, around 5/4. Lay bet here, can't understand how it's so low in the betting. Decent horse but obviously something amiss and something will beat it here.

3.58 Newton abbot, Alramz, around 5/4.another lay bet, pretty sure it won't win.

3.40 Carlisle, present chief, around 9/4. Another lay bet here, can't see it winning.

4.15 Carlisle, palaxande. Around 5/4 win bet here.
