I am a professional woman with a permanent job. I am looking for a one bed self contained apartment/studio apartment to rent in Naas, Newbridge or Kildare.

Boards does have a decent share of landlords posting here. The chances of coming across a poster with a vacant property of the type you want in the area you want are slim.

Having an alert on Daft is probably your best bet. I know its difficult getting a place in this market. Your posts suggest to me that you would be an excellent tenant. Keep the faith, and you should get sorted soon.

Hi Op,

I actually know someone who is emigrating at the end of November. They are in a lovely 1 bed apartment in Kildare town. No idea what the rent is though.

Dont know if November it too far away for you but I could ask them for their landlords number and PM (if i can figure out how to do that) it to you if you want. You might get in before it gets advertised.

last i looked on daft there was a few bits available , but naas rentals are scarce to none

I contacted the landlord. Unfortunately he has decided to sell that apartment. So my search goes on.

Thats a pity. He might have more because im sure i was told he owns a couple of apartments around Kildare. Ask him to let you know on the off chance someone else is moving out before Christmas. It would save him advertising at least.

Kilcullen seems to be getting popular, village never did much for me but sure its very close to larger towns

I saw a few in Kilcullen, but I am dependent on public transport. Then Kildare, Newbridge or Naas is better.

I finally found something. Not Kildare, Naas or Newbridgde but in Portarlington. A beautiful apartment. So all good now 😊
