Winter Wonderland - On a Budget?

This is a great idea and I'm sure the kids would love it.

Here's one thing to get started. Get all the kids to make snowflakes out of A4 sheets and string them around the class.

Only material needed here would be A4 paper, scissors and string.

Strings of paper looped and sellotaped together and then coloured make cheap decorations. Colour them in.

Absolutely. And my mother still has some of our homemade decorations and puts them up every year even though the youngest of us now is in their 30s! My mother has bells made from egg cartons and covered in tin foil that my brother made as a child......he's 48.

Or you could buy a pack of inexpensive round, white, coffee machine filters and the kids can cut out their own snowflakes and you could paste them all together on a bulletin board into a class snowman, kinda like this: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/7f/ff/6c/7fff6c4c5e8259a52f7e7bbd59c652ea.jpg

Dealz and the Euroshop often have mini trees (3ft) for 1.50 or 2 euro in the run up to christmas. The Camden Casket also have lovely old fashioned large paper decorations, again for around 2 euro.
