Second that Kev ,bought a bit of it in washed ,chopped and mixed with hulls last year ,tipped it against wall covered it in salt tapped it down with front bucket ,2 sheets plastic and truck tyres over it …serious feeding

Neither do I ,fee out with front bucket ,weighed jeep and trailer emptying Tyone and with bucket of mix in it so al least had fair idea what they were getting ….cut out need for diet feeder and beet bucket ….although if I was going to feed more beet I’d try pick up a chopper bucket

Clamp a couple of 100 ton a year here with oat hulls it's two days work, when you have it in the pit their is zero work with it

Mix it with silage and meal through tub feeder, its costing sub 20cent kilo dm when everything is took into account, you'd have zero issues feeding it out with a bucket either to stock if no feeder, it's a very stable feed to once you work your way across the pit face in 5-7 days their is zero heating

how long wud it last in the pit, will it go off, where do ye source oat hulls, none down here in kerry, we have a tub diet feeder feeding silage and straw each winter and we are thinking of adding sugarbeet, wud a 14cubic metre redrock diet feeder chop sugar beet
