Can you transfer Xbox account to another person?

Hi folks,

thinking of passing my x box series x to a friend as they can’t source a new one and I haven’t been using mine. I’ve Xbox gold till jan and few game purchases on my account. Can I transfer my account and games to them?

they probably don’t have a ms account yet

Legally murky I'd say, pretty sure that your not meant to. However, there's a way for your friend to get the benefit of your account without any of this, it's called home sharing. In settings on your Xbox, set your console as your "home console". When you give him the console, he sets up a new account, and because that console is your home console, he'll have access to everything you can access on your account. You don't even need to leave your account on the console either, so he won't have access to your cards or anything.
