Quick Smart Meter question.

If I have a smart meter can I still sign up to day/night meter rates?

from what I can see they are much cheaper.

Just on hold wih Electric Ireland- so would be great if anyone sees this while I wait

No they have these as an option. If anything you would think it should be easier to set this up, but I asked before and they arent an option. Smart meter is more expense

Yes. Just phone your provider. Free to install but costs to change back

Half my bill is night rate. Drier, dishwasher and washing machine. I also put the Sunday roast in early morning and have showers in the morning.
