Final update, I hope! My LBS got to the bottom of the problem, but not without some head-scratching! Turns out that the Hope freehub body had a hairline crack in the aluminium. They replaced the freehub body and thankfully the creak has now disappeared. Delighted to have it sorted and that the issue wasn’t something simple that I’d just missed!
