    I'm just wondering if anyone has ever brought a cask of whiskey and if so what did you do with it in the end.

    Never have, but I did look into it about a year ago. When it's aged you can sell on the cask as-is, or get it bottled.

    Black's of Kinsale are doing "Pieces of Eight" where you can buy a 1/8th share of a cask, different woods etc. available.
