transmission fluid change

    hi again folks trying to learn as much as i can about my 161 toyota rav4,it has 97000 miles done,its not due a service till 08/22,but when i got it last week i changed the iol and filter,do i need to change the gear/transmission oil?i want this to last me a few years,and want to do everything right,thanks for any help

    The gearbox oil changing interval depends by load. If you do not tow it can last 80 000km. The correct information you can find from user manual. If you like to keep the car and gearbox change after every 60 000km. Another "if" it is manual gearbox look is there magnetic plug. If not, then install the magnetic one. Do not over torque the plug. Uhhh, too many ifs
