Just on sky news. Said to have died peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer.

Rip dude. You made a lot of people laugh.

Chips AND rice !

For context.. Boycie had just pulled a stroke that made him a "nice little earner".. out in the local Indian restaurant that evening to celebrate, he was asked by the waiter if he would like chips OR rice with his main course.. in celebration of his success that day, he replied (to impress his girlfriend Marlene-I think) "Chips AND Rice"

He revisited this line in his role recently in the Sitcom "Benidorm"
