Outdoor Tap Feed

Hi all
Ive an outdoor tap but want to take a tee of it to feed a future planned garden room. I’m doing the patio soon so will bury under the patio and dig a trench to end of garden. (The step in the photo is coming out)
Any view on the best approach?

I had thought that I’d need to dig out to get at the pipe before the knuckle. And while I’m at it chase down until I get below ground. Does that sound right?

Finally - could you direct me to the correct water pipe I should use please.

Seems like a lot of work.
An equal T between the tap and the elbow. (will raise the tap a couple of inches)
A couple of inches of pipe, a new elbow,
and run a new pipe down the wall beside the downpipe.
Protect against freezing.
Alternatively , bring a new pipe out through the wall lower down,
assuming that tap is fed from the rising main the other side of that wall.

Option 1: Is this what you mean?

Option 2: Hadn’t thought of it but it might actually be the better option for lots of reasons.

Needed to split my hose off into two recently, so as to have an extra hose at hand up the top of a very long garden.
Bought one of these https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DD1HX3H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and ran a second hose under the decking and up to a https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00372UJ68/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and connected up a new hoselock reel.
Also bought these https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002Q0EN96/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 as more flexible than standard hoselock fittings.
You can run both hoses together or one at a time.
Simplest solution to me but maybe you're after something different???!
