I really liked Train to Busan so am definitely interested, but that's a really rubbish trailer with a horrible whiff of some idiot producer somewhere saying "this is the sort of thing people want to see".

Wasn't the sequel to Train to Busan considered not very good? That was the same director, I think. Haven't seen it myself

Yeah Peninsula is pretty rubbish - very generic and bloated compared to the sharply constructed rush that was Train.

I watched The Afterlife of the Party last weekend, and it was actually kind of alright. Don't get me wrong, it's not groundbreaking cinema by any means, and there's a few cringeworthy moments, especially the weird pop singer guy, but.... once you get past the opening set up it was enjoyable enough fun and extremely heartfelt in places. If you just want to switch your brain off and be lightly entertained for a while, this is perfect.

Didn’t take long to finish the first, and only, series of The Chair. The Chair is a term used for a US university shop stewart for professors. Not laugh out loud funny but the characters were quirky enough to keep you amused. Episodes are less than 30 minutes so you’ll fly through them.

I'm on ep 3 of Clickbait and am watching mainly to see if it can get any worse. The acting especially from the sister and the muslim detective is atrocious. The wife is no better either. And the script jesus...I think I'll internet the rest just to know what happens. Interesting premise let down by a woeful cast and writing.

    Avoid.

I stuck with it and whilst to agree with you to some extent, I'd recommend finishing it.

I did not expect how it ended and thought it was fairly ok as a whole.

I finished clickbait tonight and would recommend.

I thought it started really well but a few episodes in I was worried I had committed to something that was going to drag out and not be great but it finishes of with the last few episodes being really good.

While there is the odd misstep here and there, I thought overall it was well executed and definitely worth the watch.
