Free or good value parking in city

    Hi there

    Am visiting Waterford City next week. Just wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere that has free or good value parking in city. Thank you

    Waterside, Bolton St car park and Millars Marsh are €1 per hour or €3.60 for the day.


    Bolton St is a 20 second walk to the Viking Triangle and both Waterside and Millers Marsh and 20/30 second walk to the applemarket.


    The above are all outdoor carparks

    Jesus, 20/30 seconds from Millars Marsh and Waterside to the applemarket, have you considered entering the 2024 olympics?

    Na I'm retired now from Olympic sports.

    A minute then to the applemarket, it's not like it's a big walk either way

    Waterside definitely & I think half of Millers Marsh is €1 per hour with €3.60 max for the day but Bolton street is €1 per hour but no daily limit ie 5 hours = €5

    The footpath beside the Golden Fry is a popular free car park


    especially handy during rush hours

    The underground carpark at Railway square is normally a good bet and is 60c per hour to a max of €3.50 per day.
