    Hi,

A family member of mine is going through interviewing for a new role. He is a financial analyst, he worked in a really good company before and then jumped to a new company (Company B) but didnt pass his probation. Is it legally okay for him to not mentioning that he worked for company B in his CV and just say he was taking a break and traveled. Will the interviewer ever find out?

he feels quite embarrassed about it and does not know what to say if the interviewer ask why he didnt make it in his previous role.

    Thank you
