CNN removed from Freesat EPG

    It looks like CNN International will be dropped from free-to-air satellite and also Virgin Media from 1st September. The exception is that it should be retained on Sky HD subscriptions.

    They are apparently re-focusing to being a mostly online subscription service.

    I don't think I will miss it in its current form, much of which seemed to be internal US politics and an obsession with the UK.

    Mod note:

    So far, this appears to effect only the Freesat EPG and Vodafone customers only. CNN is still on free to air satellite and Virgin Media in Ireland. I’ve renamed the thread to reflect.
