    Awwwh man... I remember in a few photos I’d seen of him in the last about 18 months he hadn’t looked great. Aged quite considerably and quickly even allowing for him being going on 80...

    brilliant drummer, I had the fortune to have seen the Stones live three times...and you’d always expect to come away in awe of the the likes of Jagger, Richards and I suppose we did too but the little old dude behind the drums drumming up a storm, the heartbeat literally, the unmissable groove, unfussy, un-flashy but unashamedly soulful, stylish and on beat but loose enough to take you on that journey.... Exile On Main St will be played in his honor tonight...

    I'll also be giving that a spin later in his honour.

    Love his drumming on "Rocks Off". But right throughout that album he is just so good.
