Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There is an interesting agreement reached by Motor insurers and the EU competition authorities. It really shows shows toothless the Irish CA is in dealing with larger. companies. What they pulled up the insurance companies in was price signalling.

Is it time now for farm organisations to look for the EU CA ( Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) to investigate practices in the Irish processing industry. It is obvious once again that after the latest price pull that there is co-ordination within the industry to control the price of stock. Reports indicate that processors used feedlot stock and preferred suppliers stock over the last couple of weeks to try to back up supplies. As the Irish CA has indicated it feels its not its job to investigate anti competitive practices within the industry surly it time to go over there heads to the EU CCPC.
