Replacement of water pressure pump.

Looking for advice on how to replace a water pump. I need to know what valves I need to turn off.

There is only one pipe that is leading to hoses that has a valve.

It looks like you have a missing valve in the pictures. You should be able to tell which pipe is coming from the water tank (or possibly mains). The pump itself should say which is in and which is out too. The problem is the out pipe will also have water in it and without a valve it will let water out. Best to have a heavey duty plastic bag so when you disconnect the out pipe you can stick it into the bag. There will not be a large amount of water but enough to damage a ceiling if let loose. After that just connect to the new pump. Add a valve on the out pipe when you are doing this so it is easier next time and it is not uncommon for a new pump to have an issue.

There are 2 valves, only one seems to be visible in that photo, I'll try post a better picture. One of the valves is leading to the cold pipe, it's stuck, it won't budge, the other is not connected to the hot pipe.

Then you are good to go just close both valves and mark which one is in and which is out before disconnecting the pump so you know when putting in the new one. Easy job really
