No. But if you pick the main 5 out of it - Hession, Walsh, Flynn, Carr and Coen, it's not too bad. Not groundbreaking, but they have a decent bit of experience for the big day

I don't think Colm Boyle is up to it anymore. Unbelievable servant, and a huge reason why Mayo improved so much in the past decade with the determination that brought to the team. But of course I have no idea what the form is like at training. He could very well be the man to bring on for the last 20 mins or so. Maybe lift the team.

    God, nerves are kicking in.

When the game is in the mix at the end how many points will those subs kick ?

    that’s the worry

If Darren Coen hit a purple patch, he could score 10!!!

    But that won't happen.

Besides my own county cork winning an all Ireland in football(ha long way away) I’d love to see Mayo win one. I know today is a semi final but a win Today would IMO break a hoodoo that the team has with Dublin.

At least it's not like the '19 semi final where we were a team on it's last legs and the likes of Ruane and Diarmuid weren't fully fit. We should be able to go with them the full 70.

We do need a lot of things to happen in our favour but you just never know. Throw the ball in and let's have a go.

Agree with you 100% and have always thought we would lose by 5/6.

A great performance and I will be more than happy. A victory and I'll be loaded til Tuesday.

Eoghan McLaughlin anytime goalscorer is what I'll be backing.

    Very different from 2019

That was an old team, miles on the clock and injured all over the place.

This, regardless of how it turns out, is the future.

But not for too long, it needs also to become the present at some stage and really stand up as being a contender, not just constantly "getting the experience"

If we get a real season next year that might be the time.

There are maybe one or two you could argue around lack of experience but the rest have been around more than one season so are well experienced. I think the issue is that they are possibly not consistent enough to make the final push when things are there to be won. I hope I am wrong

The future is now for these new guys as they are around 1-2 years. We will thoroughly know what Conroy, Mchale, ROD, POH etc are made of. I think this game will tell alot around the quality we have. I really hope we deliver the first of a serious performance.

With all the drama going on around the Tyrone situation one is actually moregrateful for the Connacht championship win.

Because after today anything in the All Ireland series will have an * on it.

management pretty much accepted they had no game plan going into the LGFA semifinal . This is a disgrace and it is showing on the pitch .

Not even good enough for a U14 club match .

    Team named in match programme.

Kevin Mc and Eoghan McLaughlin both named to start

Best of luck to the ladies and mens teams.

Not a good start with the frees😕

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,585 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

    Brutal start.

Couple of very bad wides and balls dropped short..... Dublin strolling around and taking their chances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,585 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Conor Lane doing a Conor Lane. Right in **** front of him. **** useless.

O'Shea with two of the worst wides I've ever seen at this level.

    Some appalling misses.

Just not got going at all. Dublin looking very comfortable out there.

    Some point from Loftus.

A miracle needed early in the second half to get us into contention.

2 absolutely shocking misses from Aidan, you can't get away with that against Dublin. Some shocking shooting in general.

Tommy C, Ryan O'D and Eoghan McL have a lot of learning to do in big games.

It's a huge ask with all the injuries but we need to horanball like never before.

Dubs can park the bus now. Can't lose if they don't concede a goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,852 ✭✭✭✭padd b1975

I think Aidan might be finished at All Ireland level.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,077 ✭✭✭✭Cartman78

Dublin coming back to the pack....what a load of ballix that was :-(

Mayo have been poor but I don't think any team could keep pace with them tbh. It's sterile, clinical and horrible to watch but very effective unfortunately.

If by some miracle Mayo manage to drag themselves back into it, Dublin will empty the bench and move through the gears

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,585 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Time for Darren Coen and long range points...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,585 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Off the ground in front of Lane and he misses it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,585 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Such horrible brain-dead football, no composure when it's needed.
