Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

McDonald's offers

    With the McDonald's app. There are a number of offers. But once you use it. It's gone.

    However, if ordering at the self serve kiosk, you can manually type in the barcode for the offer.

    Only one code can be used per transaction, so if you need multiple, you have to do each as a separate transaction.


    Here are the codes that I've accumulated.

    Touching a McDonald's self-service screen and then eating with those same hands is probably what gave us COVID in the first place. That and f00k knows how many sick stomachs, etc. I've seen way too many folks walking straight out of the jacks in McD's withouit washing their hands - almost seems the norm.


    Be sure to bring your fingerwand if doing this...

    Also if you screenshot the offer you can “change the date” I use what’s app editing for this, remove the old date with a white pen and use text for the date and month. See example below, then scanned at the till by a member of staff. Used this example attached many times as it’s a great deal!

    My local McD's checks if the animation is live/countdown is ticking.

    They also check the date on the coffee stickers & card.

    (Miserable bunch of so and so's)

    So I just use the kiosk.

    Am I the only one seeing the huge sense of irony in that some people are worried about catching something from a McD kiosk touchscreen but have no problem putting McD food in their mouth? 🤣

    Thanks to all the posters, who saw McDonald's in the title, and came onboard to tell everyone about their horrors and disgust.


    You can't beat someone who actively goes looking to be offended.

    I spoof at the drive thru to get the adults meal and kids meal for €8 each (so we get 2 deals). Never get asked for the app, been doing it since before the app even came out as it used to be on the paper vouchers yiubused to get in booklets.

    Thanks for the codes though, handy when going in to a Mcdees. Ours has people spraying the screens after each use BTW.

    Couple of life hacks for Macdonald's a member of staff told me...

    Ordering a double cheeseburger and asking for big Mac sauce on it is the same as a Big Mac minus the middle bun but a couple of euro cheaper...

    Asking for fries with no salt on them guarantees you fresh hot fries 🍟 just get sachets of salt with them!

    thanks op, btw, i order a medium value meal and a happy meal-+60c to make them milkshakes, they always ask for the voucher up to the camera but never ask for it at the pay window. been using the same 3-4 €8 vouchers and only gave over in a year or so. : ), thanks again.

    Edit: So it's easy to enter a code.


    Unfortunately, for Chicken Legend anyway, the code doesn't work - says that "code no longer available". Had to make do with a quarter pounder and chips :(

    When you're at the kiosk, the top right of the screen has a button for "I Have A Voucher" tap that, and there is another button that says something like, Enter code manually. Tap that, then type in your code.


    Only one code is allowed per transaction.



    As for the chicken Legend not working, yeah I had a code for €1 fries. But that has stopped working as well :(

    I ordered a sausage, egg McMuffin, as the kiosk, and using the customise option, I added bacon.. the price stayed at €2

    McDonald's isn't doing a bad job of attracting customers and making them feel comfortable. They are doing everything they can. The app is very convenient and easy to use. You can also order everything as if you were with the vendor. In a word, well done. I think not only about the money but also about people. I think not only for the money but also for the people. In some cities there is still a lack of full-fledged delivery.
