Looking for someone in Galway to fit tyres that were purchased online

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any business around the county who will fit tyres which were purchased online to a car?

I've rang around a couple of the lads I usually deal with and neither will do it for me.

Thanks a lot for any recommendations

I think you'll find it hard to get someone to stand over fitting something as important as tyres, tyres that were bought online.

Are they saying no due to you buying the tires from someone else? Or is it that they don't have the time?

I use Byrne's in Oranmore and I'd suggest you ask them.

Most places would still expect to be payed to fit and balance the wheels, so make sure to mention that you'll pay that.

Oh ya obviously I am planning on paying, wouldn't expect to get it done for nothing and as I am changing all 4 tyres I am looking to get tracking done aswell so in my opinion it would be worth their time. My usual spots are saying they wont fit as I didn't purchase from them.

I can't think off the top of my head sorry!

They have one of the laser wheel alignment systems so I have found them pretty good.

Cloonboo Tyres will do it, got 4 done for €60 about 2 months ago, great service.

Looking at these prices I think I overpaid 200,00 just for labor to change 2 tyres + balance + align the front axle a few months ago in a garage in North Dublin.
