Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My fob fell off went back to where I think it happened but not there. Apart from dealer ~300 euro , are there any other cheaper options?

    Thanks.

I am thinking though some person is walking around with a key to my car so maybe the dealer can reset my other key and sync to the car, effectively making the lost one worthless. That's probably worth the premium.

The old key can be decoded and new keys supplied, but the old key will still contain the metal key for the door lock barrel. So they can get entry to the car but wont be able to drive the car.

New keys, locks and control unit will be crazy money.

You sure you don't have key cover on the policy?

I have the metal key part stayed on the key ring the fob with buttons unclipped itself.

When I called they said the car would need to stay with them for an hour and said around 300 mark.

Insurance only covers if keys are stolen from your house... Very limited.
