Indoor dining/drinking - which restaurants/pubs are offering this?

Hi Galway Boardsies,

Perhaps I get flamed here, but I thought many may be interested in a list of restaurants and/or pubs offering indoor hospitality now - I do not have a list per se, so I am hoping ye all would chip in here (I would deffo be interested in having a better view on which are and which are not) 😋

Universal are doing indoor from tomorrow.

Neachtains are not doing indoor, yet.

Only two I can recall from social media.

Might not be your taste (or qualify as "dining") but McDonalds, SuperMac's, & KFC are allowing indoor dining, and partially checked as required.

Can't believe so many hotels are not allowing non residents to dine indoors. Can't understand it. Thought they were all dying to have us back.

Is it worth the risk of one infected "non-resident" diner closing the hotel, plus the whole Dining apartheid might attrach unwanted publicity.

Volume of diners increases the risk, I would not stay in a hotel that would not serve me food, so if they want to fill rooms, they have to serve food to residents, so keep diners to the minimun maybe...

Non residents have to produce DCC certs so none of them would be infected. A resident could just as easily be infected as a non resident.

Residents not asked for any proof they don't have the virus, not like non residents.

Non residents aren't asked either, but they do have to show they're vaccinated.

Are there any hotels that allow non-residents to book for indoor dining? A lot seem to offer walk-in service only, or residents only, which is very difficult when trying to book for a large group in advance.

I would book for a restaurant in city centre but then parking becomes an issue with 3 or 4 cars.

I was in Freeneys on Saturday night. Great to be back in there for a few pints. They were strict with checking/scanning the Covid pass at the door along with photo ID. Table service only.
