Has or is anyone been on a trip outside of Ireland since the vac passport came into effect ?

I would be interested to hear how you found it re the ferry paper work and the reception you got in the local you traveled to.

My parents have been to Spain twice in their campervan, took the family pet too, a little dog (she's a mix bout the size of a jack russell). Think they went Brittanny Ferries?

    In Brittanny this week.

Have your Covid passport at the ready in Dublin port, took about 5 minutes longer than usual. Download the TousAntiCovid app and have it on your phone. Haven't been asked for it yet.

Everything else the same on the ferry apart from wearing a mask. WBYeates Ferry certainly not at full capacity and no tester bottles of perfume in the shop ;).

Restaurants, pubs etc all functioning as normal. Campsites seems a bit quieter than previous years however usual mix of NL,BE, D number plates as well as domestic visitors. We booked campsite the day we travelled.

French seem very welcoming and happy to have visitors. Our fear was they may not want us but so far so good.

Hoping to travel further south on Tuesday as a few clouds apparently moving in.
