MF 4370 steering issue

Neighbor recently bought a 4370. Steering is working fine when moving but its like their is no power steering when stationary. Any idea what the problem could be before he talks to a mechanic?

Does the steering improve if he revs the tractor up while stationary?

Slightly but nothing major. No issue with the steering when its moving but it would hardly turn if you are stationary/moving slowly and trying to turn the steering

I had an issue with the steering on a 4255 last year. I ended up replacing the tandem pump mounted under the right rear wheel, which solved the problem. See attached thread for some good advice and info which might be helpful.... https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058095399/mf-4255-steering-problem
