Clack water softener

    Hello guys .
    Hope you had a great weekend.
    So here I come with my question . Since we moved into our house 🠠5 years ago we are constantly fitting against limescale . One of my neighbour has a water Softner at home a clack one where he adds about 1 bag of salt in it each months . And he says it removed 100-100 of his limescale .
    I wondered if anyone used those machines / brand before any advices ? Thanks .

    Few of my neighbours have them about 5 years and swear by them. I'm getting on installed on Thursday.

    I was advised Clack were the best out there. Got one. Love it.

    Hi there, which model do you have ? Since how long ? Any return experience on limescale etc ...

    I have the 10L M2 for 2.5 years.

    Completely limescale free since then.

    Hi,

    Would anyone know where to source the brine tank for a clack system? We have ours installed but due to a new sink the space underneath is now a bit tight so a smaller tank would be ideal. Currently we have a large cylinder type but I've seen smaller rectangular shapes which would work.

    Tried our installer but no luck yet.

    Would any suitable plastic tank not do the job? Once you can get at it, get salt in and have the water valve setup correctly then something like a small water storage tank should do? Cover on top and make sure the hose going to the valve is at the lowest point.
