Joanne trying to use the political correctness clause there, "hose" and "Shi." not to her liking 😂.

**** off attacking mark, dumbest rule ever introduced

Cork 3 points to no score up. Great start for Cork. Only a matter of time until Kerry get going.

So if a player wins a mark near the endline he can bring out to the 21 and take it? The mark is a joke but that makes it much worse.

    V

Idiotic rule. What hope has a defender against that. Cork lad caught that, would have had an awful lot to do to turn and get a score and just gets a simple free in as a reward for a simple catch.

The ALL Ireland champions struggling in killarney thus far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,898 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Good start for Cork, even if Connolly has given away some needless ball. Hopefully they can keep this up. I think they might be surprised at the ease at which they are creating chances, Kerrys defensive problems look for from being sorted out.

Cork are really up for it! 1-05 v 0-04

    Good game so far.

Sean Kelly a big loss to Galway and also finnerty to a lesser extent. Mayo the better team.

Cork struggling now, you'd expect kerry to push on

Cork wasting good opportunities to score, Kerty take the lead.

Fine Kerry goal, but he was allowed run through, poor defending.

Game over, kerry have way to much footballing ability and pace

A few poor wides and poor options taken by Cork are costing them dearly. They should be closer.than 5 points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,898 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Mad half. Kerry turn from 5 down to 5 up and look to be coasting to a fairly straightforward win.

Kerry were wasteful in first quarter, but have really started to convert possession into scores now.

Cork have had plenty possession but are just wasting so much ball, I'd say Kerry have a nice amount of scores from Luke Connolly turn overs alone. He is a class player at times, but a bit headless

Can anyone tell me what the new structure is next year?

    Are provincial still a thing?

Boring championship thus far, provincials offer us very little, need the few top teams playing each other regularly

I honestly think from what I saw today v Galway - Mayo have the beating of Dublin.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Key changes so far were the switches from Foley to O'Beaglaioch on Hurley, and the introduction of Killian Spillane at the water break, which sparked Kerry into action. Again, the defence has been far too open, and David Clifford struggles when a player marks in front of him, so while it might not be fatal today (though who knows), the Ulster champions will be taking notes.

2 attacks that should have seen a few points for Cork, 1 long ball, Kerry goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,800 ✭✭✭FintanMcluskey

Dublin’s challengers are Mayo and Kerry

both of those teams had slow starts themselves today and shipped goals against poor opposition

dublin won’t be beaten in croke park this year by either challenger
