Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Does anyone have any personal experience of the E300de?

I currently have a BMW 520e and do approx. 30K km per year so with that I don't think the 530e would be for me but I have been looking at the 300de which might work for me. I can still cover my mileage while moving into the PHEV space.

Would anyone have any advice on this? stay away from a diesel PHEV?

    Cheers

Had an E300 Bluetec Hybrid (mild hybrid diesel) and I loved it. Search my posts. Can be the perfect combination for many people fuel economy wise, but the best part about it by far was the smooth city driving due to the electric take off, but it would only bring the care to make 20kph before the engine started.

Merc 7G Tronic and BMW's ZF 8-speed feel like they're made of chocolate when the ICE is running and the clutch is try it's best to guess gears, but absolutely perfect with the electric around town.
