Hard to know from the live shot, it looked a lap 1 racing incident. But from that overhead replay looks like Hamilton dived up the inside and made contact with Verstappen's rear. Based on what has been penalised in the last few races that has to be a penalty.

They were really going at it hammer and tongs, touching on the straight etc. Looked like a massive impact for Max there but he seems relatively ok at least. Hard one to call, racing incident I think.

Absolutely disgraceful for Hamilton. If FIA follow precedent and there is any justice this would surely be the same penalty as Jerez 97, undoubtedly it’ll just be a slap on the wrist though, along with the courtesy red flag to let him repair.

He either needs to fully commit to the corner or he needs to back out of it. Hamilton didn’t know what decision to make until it was too late.

There was a replay there from behind, quite telling for me. Lewis had room to the right of himself but didn't use it, not much mind.

It all happened a bit quick for me, can't imagine what it is like for the drivers.
