    I know but isn't it expected that the fully vaccinated will get it anyway but not as bad?

    Yep, vaccinated people getting infected and lots of talk of new variants that will be resistant. It's soul destroying at this stage.

    I hope your friend has mild symptoms and recovers quickly.
