Looking at a weekend in Dublin in near future for a short break. Just me and husband. Somewhere with lots of space so less covid risk. Was considering Intercontinental but would prefer to be closer to Stephen’s Green. Merrion and Shelbourne are too expensive. Where else would be nice?

Iveagh Garden Hotel is within 5 minutes walk, will be quiet as no niteclubs open with Covid...

Westbury or Conrad.

Walked past the Conrad every day for years and always found it unappealing. Never been inside it though.

I’ve only gone and booked the Shelbourne…. Plenty of time to chicken out still. We don’t get away often though.
