Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi - my dad passed away earlier in the year after a period of illness, my brother has been trying to manage a small beef farm through probate as well as working full time. It turns out the QA has expired and some of the animals are ready to go to the factory. Does anyone know of factories preferably in the Munster area that take bullocks from non QA farms?

Thanks in advance for any advice, its been a challenging few months so take it easy on me :)

Easily happen, sorry for your loss, cattle trade very good in marts ( seen cattle make more than farmer with small numbers in factory) If they are in test for TB I'd take them to mart

I’d say they’ll all take them but you might not get the QA bonus on them.
If they were my mine i’d bring them to a mart, there has never been a better time to sell finished cattle in a mart than now.
Let the factories fight over them there.

Thanks that sounds like good advice, neighbours herd has come down with TB so we need a test I think to sell but fingers crossed we pass.
