Hi all,
A friend of mine rents her apartment tru booking.com now they want a Vat number of her
In accordance with new EU relugations.
Do you have to be registered for Vat if it is only 1 property ?
She already pays personell tax to the tax man at 40% on profits after outgoings .

Just give them her PPS number. Unless she’s making over €37,500 she’s not obliged to register for VAT.

For a the past few years Airbnb has required vat/PPS number of the Host, records of each Hosts income is passed to Revenue. Sounds like booking.com are now doing same.
