    Such a shock. I can't believe he's gone.
    He was a real stalwart, and a huge advocate for women's cycling too.
    He'll be missed.

    Had the pleasure of meeting him in person 2 or 3 times when he coached me. Top man and knew his stuff. RIP paddy.

    I didn't always agree with Paddy, but always enjoyed a chat when I met him. RIP.

    He was a gentleman, such a sound fella. A great supporter of women's racing, he did a lot of great work with the Women's Commission. Very sad news indeed.
