Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks

I figured the smart lads here would know.,daughter got a hp elite book 840 G6 from work (based in Sydney) and has now to work from home. Is it possible to connect up 2 ext monitors without additional hardware? I think that it has 1 x hdmi, 1 x usb-c and 2/3 x usb 3 ports.
    Thanks in advance

Yes, you can use HDMI and USB c to extend the desktop assuming your monitors are new enough to support those.

It will be spaghetti junction there with a mouse, keyboard, headset too. That’s what the dock gives you, a much tidier setup, and you won’t need to reconfigure everything once you plug out and plug in.

To set it up either direct cabled or with a dock is the same.

    1)plug it all in
2)press WINDOWS button +P to bring up the display setting dialog (or search for it in settings).

    3)Click detect additional monitors
    4)select Extend
    5) select Identify
    6) drag the pictures of the monitors around in the screen until they match your physical layout.
