Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi All, looking to possibly put a stove in this space, we had hoped to put a landscape insert but not sure that will be possible. Is it possible to centre the fireplace?house is a semi d with a shared chimney with next door

What are the alcoves like either side of the chimney breast? I assume they are equal size...

You could centre it (on the chimney breast) by building a false wall (or a wall :) ) either side of the chymney breast -
will end up with different size alcoves though.

Could build out the alcoves entirely to attempt to hide the offset of the fire.

But as mentioned - you cant move the hole :)
