Terminal 2 Gardai checkpoints

    I've flown a few times recently from T1 and the Guards have been there each time with a checkpoint before security.

    Is it the same setup in T2 and if so, what are the midweek queue times like?

    no solid answer to that, just depends on the destination of flights, the times and the numbers traveling...

    T2 does tend to be a lot quieter and with far less flights..

    Are they there just before the bag check?

    Yes, as you go to scan your boarding pass..

    But go through Fasttrack to avoid them completely.
