    Zverev playing like... Zverev.

Looks like there's no way back for him, playing really poor.

Tsitsipas is'nt having to do anything particularly special

Guys what channels is the Nadal/Djokovic showing on? I have ITV4, but my folks are on the Virgin setup... I *think* they have eurosport

Actually I see ITV4 listed on the Virgin Media channels so they might have that

Nadal in four later I think. If it's a long one it might be clashing with Italy - Turkey.

Good to see Tsitsipas making light work of Zverev. So far, anyway

    Zverev is transformed.

I thought that line call might adversely affect him.

Tsitsipas has blown a two set lead...........oh dear. In the likely event that Nadal will be waiting in the final (hope i am wrong), this really wont help the winner of this one having played a 5 setter. Had tsitsiipas won in 3 you could at least have had him arriving into the final fresh.

I cant see Zverev hurting Nadal

these lads are only 24 (just) and 22 respectively.

either should be well able to recover from a 5-setter in 2 days.

They have shown time and again that they are not as strong as Nadal and Djokovic. I think for the best possible final one of these two at least needed to win in straights or maybe 4 sets. Even at that i can only see Tsitsipas making it competitive,, no guarantee he will even win now

These modern day sportspeople are so flakey.
They probably have it too good growing up nowadays .

I think the experience of RN, ND and RF playing so many 5 set tournaments earlier in their careers has helped them enormously. Such a difference to the younger players only doing 5 setters at GS or Davis Cup.

The problem with these 2 guys is that the are not mentally strong enough to beat Nadal or Djokovic in a final. They both have the game but as we see in this match both of them can lose it mentally. I think Tsitsipas is a bit stronger mentally than Zverev.

Certainly true that neither have shown anything slightly approaching the mental resilience of Nadal or Djokovic

But one of them coming up against either of those all-time titans, even if unlikely to win, would be a big learning experience in a 5 set GS final match.

Ballsy pullling a drop-shot out of the bag on match point.

It would be nice for Djokovic if he can avoid getting bagelled or breadsticked like last year.
Neither of those scenarios is going to happen. If will be much closer than last years match. Djokovic in 4 or 5 for me. On the law of averages, he has to win one of these big clay matches

A bit of a joke really, if anyone was tuning in they would think he had won it outright!

well first Greek man ever to get to a GS final.

it's hard to get to a GS final in the men's game.

He's after making his first grand slam final so I am willing to give him a pass if he gets a tad emotional.

Huge moment for the greek nation.

not quite - some women pull out of tournaments 'cos they might be asked "why aren't you good on clay"

I think Nadal could still be winning French Opens at the age of 50.
He will be like the Undertaker coming out of semi retirement once a year to fight at Wrestlemania to keep the streak going.

It's an utter joke but you are right, what other sporting event can you say with 100% CERTAINTY who the champion will be in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 ???

    Farcical.
