Derry to beat Cavan this weekend at 11/10. Decent price I think, they won their first two games by huge margins, beating Longford by 16 points and Fermanagh by 19 points. Fermanagh beat Cavan on opening weekend by 1 point and Cavan only beat Longford by 6 points last weekend compared to Derry's 16 point win. 11/10 seem very generous odds but you never know in GAA I suppose.

Offaly +1 against Tipp too at evens seem like good odds. They won their first two games against Wicklow and Limerick whereas Tipp were beaten by Limerick.

Clare +3 against Cork at 10/11 seem very good too. They beat Laois well on opening and beat Kildare by 3 points last weekend, whereas Cork lost to Kildare by 4 points on opening weekend. +3 seems very decent odds for that price.

Could be a nice treble on there

    Nice one

Down vs. Laois Division 2 relegation play-off in Newry

Boyle have the handicap at Down -3. I was thinking -5 at least.

Laois have lost their last three league games by 7, 8 and 13 points to Clare. , Cork and Kildare. They are in absolute disarray, failing to score more than 12 points in any game so far.

While Down suffered a couple of heavy defeats to Mayo and Meath, they steadied the ship to beat Westmeath last weekend. And they have home advantage.
I think this is a gimme.

I think both games last week were effectively dead rubbers so not sure how much stock you can put into those results/performances. Down haven't exactly being shooting the lights out either, 14 pts is their highest total. Could be a dour enough affair, tried to price it up myself in yesterday and actually had it at Down -2.

    Best of luck with it.

Both teams are a disgrace really Down are 15 men behind the ball puke football merchants this year unfortunately and Laois are the worst team in the country outside of division 4 so I think your pricing is bang on.

    Good points, both posters above.
Agree that both teams are a shambles. Looking at going below the points total could be the smart move here, especially if it's over the 30 point mark.

    Accumulator for the hurling weekend:

    1. Limerick vs Cork - Margin of victory bet - Either team to win by 1 to 4 or draw at 10/11. Decent odds in my opinion. I don't think there will be too much between them

    2. Dublin vs Clare - Margin of victory bet - Either team to win by 1 to 4 or draw at 4/5. Same as above, maybe a 1 or 2 point win for either team so I like these odds

    3. Galway vs Waterford - Double result - Galway/Galway at 11/10. I think Galway at home will just be too strong and will want to bounce back after losing last weekend. Waterford had a good win against Limerick but were a man up for most of the game and were 5 points down in the first half when Limerick lost a man.

    4. Antrim vs Wexford - Handicap bet - Wexford -7 at 10/11. Wexford are due a big game and I'm sure Davy will have them fired up after the awful first half display last week. They'll want to continue like they played in the second half. I could see them winning by +9 or 10

    5. Kilkenny vs Laois - Handicap bet - Kilkenny -15 at 10/11. Kilkenny are going well and excellent in Nowlan Park. Laois have just been so poor so far unfortunately that I could see Kilkenny raking up a huge score here

    Division 2A Round 4

    Round 4

Offaly minus 9 looks tempting today . Have. Won all there games so far by double figures and look to be a bit ahead of the pack

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,034 ✭✭✭Swaine

Kildare -11 v Roscommon. Roscommon shipping big scores while Kildare have been dishing them out thus far.

Clare 15/8 v kilkenny next Saturday, i think clare have a great record against kilkenny recently so i think this is a bit of value, Clare are beginning to get things together and i think they will want to sign things off on a good note before they play Waterford.
I might also double it with Wexford who are 1/2 at home against the Dubs.

Couldn’t have Wexford at 1 to 2 at the moment v any half decent team . I don’t give them much hope of doing much this year . Don’t really fancy the dubs this year to do much either . One to swerve in my opinion . I’m not saying they won’t win just think there will be better 1 to 2 s over the summer.

PP offering 9/4 for a Kerry, Dublin and Cork treble at weekend.. Cork are 1/6, yet, their the one I am worried about.. Can anyone assure me re Cork being a done deal :)

    33.5 in boyles and 365.

    Going with these 5:

    Westmeath +5 v Cork
    Derry -6 v Limerick
Down v Laois total points under 33
    Armagh to beat Roscommon
    Cillian O'C anytime goalscorer

    I’m going with:
    Wicklow+8 v Cavan
    Tyrone+3 v Kerry
    Donegal +5 v Dublin

Agree with above about down v Laois feel that will be a game that down should win -2 although both teams tend to concede plenty so U33.5 seems about fair.
Let me know what we think!

26c forecast for Sunday. What's the angle lads - overs as defenders are goosed? Highest scoring half 2nd half as loads of space opens up? 2nd half match results for teams with stronger benches.....

Donegal +5... Would be thinking nearer +9
No Murphy and look like conceding goals easily of late..
Also have a championship game v Down in 2 weeks, will be of more concern than tomorrow.

Good shout completely forgot about Murphy’s injury if I’m honest!

Agreed, add in Dublin deep bench, Dubs wanting to put down a marker against a "potential" contender that they were expecting last year, and players fighting for their place come championship time. Struggle to see how Dubs don't win comfortably

    Wexford vs. Dublin

Dublin to score more than 24.5 points evens on Boyle.

They have beaten this line in their last three games and you could hardly ask for a better day for a hurling match.
